A day of food exploration and toddler exasperation… We love doing #airbnbexperiences when we travel, especially food tours, and this Venice Street Food Tour with Anna did not disappoint. However, we’ve never brought our child on a food tour until today, and learned it may not necessarily be the best activity for a picky eater more interested in boats than bites. In the end, an iPad and a chocolate gelato on the last stop saved the day!
With nap/sleep schedules still out of whack from jet lag, we were relieved to go out for a relaxing dinner and evening stroll in the Cannaregio district on our last night in Venice, with help from a wonderful local law student babysitter.
Venice is lovely, but one thing we won’t miss here: carrying the stroller up and down all those bridges without ramps!
